Holy Molie!
What happened? Jeeeze, can't even go out for a week, log in and everythings changed. Maybe this can happen on SA but all us old guys here in SN can't handle fast changes. Oh well, I guess I'll figure it out, although the learning curve may be a bit slow.
I guess I'll find it, but, where's all the good stuff like "sailing with bulldogs"
OR, writing a book about a boat or whatever that was?
Anyway, tirp from Hell. Fuel problems, windless problems, outboard motor problems, water tank problems, winch problems, anchor light problems, generator problems . . .. . . .I guess it's the start of a new sailing season
I want to thank everyone for making my gallery at http://www.picturetrail.com/ian_holland the top rated on that site, the album "for the guys at sail.net I think I broke all records for a single album views in a week. I wonder why? Now, if only I can make some money from this and fix all things that broke last week.

Whoa.
thought for a moment you had started a Religous thread. Phew !! Global bloody warming is bad enough but religion......oh my gawd.
Ian, all your problems arise from being distracted by the butt floss. Cut her loose mate, she deserves to swim free.

TDW is just saying that cause he wants her to crew on his boat.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I never have crew problems, except this time, I went out solo. Which, in retrospect was a good idea. I just celebrated my siiiiixxtt,, no, my fiiifff, well over 40th birthday, and part of the tradition, ides of march and all that, is that I go solo. The ides proved right as always, which is why I do it. Just another superstition? Nope, it just happens that way.

About that, you just don't know the problems when they get sunburned at the bikini line, I have to apply aloe vera a couple times a day, massage, take away all the owies. It really gets to be a pain sometimes. Actually, I'd rather work on the outboard (personal note: Cheri, if you're reading this, I'm really kidding)
