Unfortunately, I lack the greed gene. Money, like age, is just a number, and it seems the less I have, the better off I am. And I have found, that I prefer being better off, than well off. (Then I don't have to worry about hanger-ons wanting to play with the stereo )

I recall something called the "bee mite" that was small enough to live in a bee's throat (I have a feeling my reading glasses won't be enough) and several years back were a big problem in the honey industry.
Then the problem seemed to go away. Now it's "colony collapse"?

I have the greed gene, but it's for time, not money. I resent spending the last half of my life (actuarially speaking) spending quite as much time doing what I dislike as I did in the first half.
Luckily, I can sell off a lot of my crap to finance a fair bit of time sailing in a boat....a boat that can't carry a lot of "stuff" that doesn't have at least two functions and an option to open a beer bottle.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Errrmmm Dawg? I don't recall saying I had too much money, only that I'm not interested in the accumulation of vast amounts of it, which then have to be either turned over for every hair brained idea Congress gets, or given to CPA's and Atty's so I don't have to give it to Uncle. Either way, somebody else gets most of it.

PBz-
I'm not picky... I didn't say I expected to get rich over what you gave me to get rid of...

Dawg - I OWN a boat. I DO NOT have any EXCESS money. It's a physical impossiblity even greater than the Solar Schitk.
