"Every once in a while CP gets serious and includes quotes.
I'd like to hear one of Barry's boy's answer on that one."
I have my moments.
I did notice the almost deafening sound of silence.
What, no takers?
He's the "change" guy... he's the "yes we can!" guy, right? Hmmm?
Well, yea, he's a change guy, he's changed from saying that he'll go along with the public funds.... until he doesn't.
He'll support the guy who he named his book after, the one that brought him to the Lord, the one that married him and baptised his kids... support him like he would his own grandmother.... until he is faced with the statements that the whack-job has made for over 20 years.
Then he'll feign ignorance of what the looney tune has spewed for over 20 years, and drop him like a box of hot rocks.
Whos drinkin' what kool-aid now.
He's the "yes we can" guy alright... sure is... we can give everybody with a handout all the programs that they'd ever want. (no proof of this, he hasn't signed anything of any value since he signed his bar card.)
Well sparky, it may not get much coverage, but I'll tell ya, the silent majority of stupid, redneck, ill-informed public has raised a collective eyebrow, and they are listening.
We redneck, ill-informed idiots (some of us with 2 degrees, neither in poli sci, or liberal arts) that "drank the kool-aid" may suffer from some short term memory loss, but we will be able to remember what you said in 2007, and what you did in June, 2008.
We may not attend a single rally, and I don't know many of us who've been phone up for a poll, but we do remember your words, and your actions.
When theres a disconnect between the two, we remember, and think... Do I trust this guy? Can I believe him?
So go ahead, bus in invited guests to fill a high school football stadium to fawn all over your oratory skills, they're impressive. However, be careful of what you say today, because it really should kinda, sorta match up with what you said yesterday and what you say tomorrow.
