You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Dad,
I just had a wonderful idea. How about I come in an hour early to work, so I never see the old bat, and you stop posting on Solar World, and I die a happy man?
C'mon, man-even the Dog can't take it any more!

Didn't quite know where to post this but the "ass full of crap" thread seemed apt.

From yesterday's Guardian.

By Matthew Weaver / USA 12:22pm
George Bush is looking, and now dancing, more and more like a Steve Bell cartoon every day.
His performance with west African musicians should be a reminder to politicians the world over not to strut their stuff on stage. Boris Yeltsin couldn't dance and neither can Bush.
His attempt is not quite as cringe-making as the Karl Rove rap, but it's pretty close especially when the president starts trying to play the bongos.
Today's Daily Mail attempts to describe the unsettling sight. It says: "At one point [Bush] seemed to go cross-eyed and then fluttered his hands, closed his eyes and opened his mouth in a failed attempt to look hip."

I will never vote for any politician who DOES look hip.

TDW-

I know the difference between wombats and gerbils... and I seriously doubt that an ER ever had to remove a wombat from someone's nether regions..... which has been the case with the local ER according to my friend who was a doc there for 20 years.

Hooley dooley, the two of you should have such fun. The hat by the way is just a loaner. They only have the one but you get to wear it every second Thursday/

Feels good doesn't it ? Ms Wombat keeps getting peeved with me cos everytime she wants to use the thing in the kitchen it's somehow found it's way into my bedside table along with the Gerbils and my copy of Playburrow.

CD - please use sparingly , you only have so much peck to give for your country.

The only good thing I can say about Solar World is that there are damn few pinkos over there.(g) It's probably due to the fairly equitable distribution of the sun's rays already present, requiring no taking to the streets demanding redress. Or, it could be, that the capacity of the far left to mind numbing exercises is as limited as us fascists.
