To my sailnet Friends,
I have a confession to make,
(and one that my friend Alex is not going to like) it is clear to me that I have an addiction and that I am attracted to "Old Shoes."
I can't help myself but "Old Shoes" are pretty, and "Old Shoes" are tough as nails, and "Old Shoes" look sexy.
My friend Alex is trying to help with my addiction by offering other choices in addictions, which have their appeal as well; such as X-Yachts, Sweden Yachts, Dehler (look where they are now), Halberg, Najad, and others. But my addiction to "Old Shoes" will simply not go away. I am trying very hard but I can't keep my eyes and my thoughts off of the things. I suffer from "OS" affliction.
This is my confession.

Ok here's what you need to do. Go buy yourself a fast modern yacht such as what Alex is recommending. Then buy yourself a pair of cheap sunglasses. Remove the lenses and replace them with a cutout picture of an old shoe.
