Sailaway,

You should know by now that I am, by nature, the sweetest guy (and straightest so do not get any ideas) you will ever meet. Add into the fact that I am the best looking guy ever to converse with another human being, and you will realize how humble and thoughtful I truly am.

My biggest problem is that once you piss me off, I am the most overboard SOB you will ever meet.

As far as Amy and SM, I am trying sooooooo hard to take it at face value. Because, in addition to being the nicest, best looking, most humble sailor - I AM NIEVE.

But so be it. You catch more flies with honey... (smile).

Unfortunately, CD is off his meds again, and is currently suffering from a serious psychotic break at the moment.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Dad,
That was too good.

It boggles the mind that individuals log on to sailnet and do not take advantage of the archives or, in this case, read the entire thread. Duh! It's as if the answer from two years ago is no longer applicable. "Well, my sails are new so maybe i have to set them differently than they did two years ago". Most of the "lurkers" are reading old threads and actually learning something. Newbies are the lifeblood of sailnet or any other site. But, to come on site, state your 'strong' opinion, not having read the entire god-forsaken, unending thread, and you're a newbie to boot? It brings to mind the old saying, "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Giu's goin' nuts and I see part of the reason. Your 'girlfriend' is now talking about having her transmission in one position but her engine in "neutral". I do not think she has a direct reversing diesel.(g) I think that "a blast" was warranted. But then, you're probably gettin' "it" more than I am too.(g)

Phyllis

THIS IS IT!

There's no topic here. You can ramble about at will. Potshots are the order of the day. See, we're all asses here. You can even discuss the impending yellow peril or anything else, even my Jewishness, and you don't even have to open a thread. Mind you, it is hardball with a wide strike zone. fire away.

Nope. Unless sailnet has 'em. I checked my original post and seem to have left that out. HeHeHe. I don't think aluminum bats should be allowed, though.

But the aluminum bats don't break as easily, and they work so much better when you drill out the fat end and fill it with lead shot and epoxy.

Hawkeye25,
You sir are a f****** dirt bag. Your own mindless drivel is tolerated here, with mildly worded disagreement perhaps, and yet, you choose to attack "hellosailor" (in post #129 of the Islamist thread) in the most insulting personal way. You are a name-calling, immature little pissant and your mother should have taught you better manners whilst in short pants.

The foc'sle is full. Lay aft and you may find accomodations in the lifeboat. If not, no matter to me.

Note: edited for profanity, the sentiment remains the same.

Sailaway- I have to say that as backward and contrived as his BS post is, the only thing Hawkeye said about "hellosailor" was in calling him an idiot. The rest of the post was a bunch of liberal talking point BS that has no basis in the truth or reality, but the insults seemed to be directed toward polititcal figures not "hellosailor". After reading it I certainly understand your being mad, but consider the source.
