I'm so glad you posted your thoughts on that here. I look forward to the day that you realize that sails were great in their day and, since you never use your's anyway, it's time to move on. Once you've removed them and the now unneeded mast we'll look forward to reading your posts in a powerboat forum somewhere where, you'll no doubt still be known as the Dock Monitor.
The guy already owns the Loran set; he's not talking about buying one. It's much like your wife. She already has you. That hardly means she'd buy another you today. And, if she adopts your progressive views, she's likely to discard the you she's got for a more sophisticated model. I trust that this explanation has been beneficial to you. (vbg)
