Happy Birthday Paul. I hope yours is as great as mine was.
They're calling for 15-20mph NW winds today and I'm home. Probably a good thing, I'm not sure I'm ready for real wind yet.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Paul,
Another year of confounding heart surgeons and teenage daughters. Is this what growing old is all about? If it is, I guess it's only half bad.

This afternoon, I'm going to finish scrubbing the hell outta the deck (thats taken me 4 days, can't do as much as I used to) and if the rain will hold off for a couple of days, I'm going to "poliglow" like a banshee (or as close to a banshee as I can get).
All the best to you CP. Another young pup. Damn it all, there must be someone who is older than me.

Goose... you're a sailor now... you have to measure windspeed in knots.... not mph...
