Giu,
It is my newest way way to support my cruising habbit. I am glad you asked, as I know you are the perfect person on this board for this conversation. So, here is my plan:
I am going to go island to island and offer GREEN POWER. Basically, I plug into the dock and supply the whole island. People can use things they never thougth possible: Ice Makers, Air Conditioners, Margarita Machines, etc.
Did I show you the last picture where I accidentally knocked one of my wires loose?? Let me see...

Here it is. Luckily, someone had a camera setting on the hill some miles away. Just think what would have happened if they had been closer!!

ehehehehehe I actually do...
You should start by going to the Dominican Republic...they have the "apagones" means the "power off's"...basically, power supply in the island id so bad that every day, from 6pm till 9:30 pm, they have no Power.
Except the rich and politicians!!! They actually select who doesn't get power...poor souls...for over 15 years now....
I have a story about that and one day will tell it....

Yes, I know that is your business. I am concerened that my panels and wind gen may not produce enough energy. Thus, I thought about connecting a suction line to the holding tanks to pull off the methane. Light that baby up with a home-made h20 generator, and BAM! THere you go. A different kind of green power!!

Not to mention, should the methane run low, a little Mexican food can get that baby functioning 110% in no time!!

Hey CD-
If you taught Giu to sail...that explains a lot...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

My new one is supposed to be out. I have heard about it, but have not received my mag yet. It is about the grim, hard, realities of making a passage and how I lovingly try to help people appreciate the better things in life. It is called THE GRILL RUN. At least that is what people have told me is out right now!!

To which the bartender replies, "Sir, you are obviously very drunk and I can tell that you are from Portugal, seeing as you can not act with appropriate manners, I must ask you to leave and I will not serve you a drink."
The Portuguese Sailor sulks from the bar shaking his head saying, "Man what was that guys problem? Perhaps I should have called him Cruising Dad."
