Snboard, as with most sailors on SailNet, you will learn in time that SD needs this control over new posters - some kind of compensation thing, I suppose. Granted, he is a very valuable contributor to these forums and typically has some good advice. But this control issue of his, just yanks the wrong lines on my boat as well.

Snboard976,
Thank you also for researching the archives of sailnet and not starting yet another thread on a matter already covered. You're hardly alone in your opinion on creating a knowledge base here, if not a membership willing to explore it.

blt2ski will become famous soon enough
Don't forget, one can email SD at sailnet@moderatorwanna.bee

Some older posts brought back up are better than starting new ones.

Well put! Polite too!

That plus we "SailNet is new to me" types who might happen to be voracious thread readers tend to read old threads, oops and reply to them as well apparently. Just saying.

It's all good - sometimes the information in old threads needs updating.

For example, not one suggested boat or improvement included a reference to the requirement to have a steady, sturdy place to install the much needed propane, wait for it, grill.

Why would you want a boat that can take you anywhere, yet once you got there be stuck with tins of corned beef heated over alcohol flames?
