Top Twenty Boats
G'day Folks
There is a book called 'Twenty Sail Boats to take you anywhere' (close)?
Can someone just list the boats for me please?
Thanks all.
Jim.

mac 26x
hunter 27 -35ft
anything "french"
anything with an outboard
anything with an inboard
anything with blisters
anything without blisters
just, for gods sake, make sure it has room for your dogs, has solar panels and telco batteries.

Don't forget you need room on the stern for a SolarStik miracle solar panel setup... and you definitely want a ketch rig, so you can put the wind generator up on the mizzen...

Jim...here's 2 of the 20...he left a lot of good boats off the list and included these:
Cal 20 Catalina 27
That's why you need the book...to understand how each needs to be modified before it becomes a boat to take you anywhere.

Actually, my recommendation is that you buy the book. It's only about $14 and it lists the pros and cons of the various boats mentioned.
IIRC, the largest boat in the book is the Southern Cross 31, and the smallest is probably the Pacific Seacraft Flicka, with the others ranging in size between them.
And now you know at least four of the twenty boats... believe the Contessa 26 was also one of them..

You can search it on Amazon and check the table of contents.

CapnHand-
Apparently, Amazon.com isn't allowing a look inside that particular book anymore.

If all you want to do is go "anywhere" why the hell do you need a boat. Don't buy a boat. You read it here first.
