Wrecked my truck today....one less Datsun in the world now.

I think it had been in a wreck before since theres some welding on the frame rail. All that cracked open. I know where a few of these trucks are that im going to check out tommrow. If i find a nice cab/frame im going to try trade my VW Rabbit for it so i can get my truck back.

Hey SVDistantStar, just make sure that it won't be registered as a "salvaged vehicle" then it's only worth what somebody will pay for it. Sometimes it's cheaper to just go buy another.

The insurance company isnt doing anything with it. Ive got the bare minium coverage required here. Saddly as old as it is, its not worth much anyway. Its worth alot to me since it took me 3 years to find the right truck and then having it for almost 3 years, then killing it. It still runs fine and has plenty of useable parts to restore another one. Ive got a lead on a kingcab frame/cab in decent shape thats pretty much stripped out. As long as the cab isnt rusted out, i can build a kingcab from mine and that one.

Hey, thats not that bad. The black Toyota truck in the parking lot "was" totaled worse and he got it to look as good as it does now.
