Seriously though, how long do you think it was clutched onto the transom at the marina? Could have done some damage to the gel coat.

Looks like we posted simultaneously . . . so you were motoring outside the marina. I got YOU then.

It wasn't there when I backed out of the slip, as I leave the slip backwards and I would have noticed it.

The hull is getting dirty with algae, so it could be attached somewhere underneath.

As we motored out, I only saw it when we were more or less where I took Fred's photo...then I took pictures of it.

It was there maybe 10 minutes, not more...It was disgusting to look at..Fred liked it...but funny was as we started sailing and accelerating, I was wiggling like crazy, then a while after I went look for it and was gone..

Fred was loving it..he said it was helping us sail...do they bite people??

tigerregis has a little shameless behaviour in the past
They drill a hole into your skin, inject a blood thinner and drink till they're so full, and then drop off. Leaving you with a nice round wound.

You mean my fame has reached Portugal?

Gui, go down to a harbor restaurant, they probably serve those for tapas.

Thought you were still out of commission?

Ian

Those photos were from the ill fated day.

That's it, it was the extra drag that caused the problem.

It's not impossible, it just costs more.

cruiserwannabe,
I know sometimes it seems ridiculus, I'm even surprised sometimes! I'm starting a project, "girls of the channel islands" calendar, before I even advertised, I've gotten 12 auditions.

The ad will read: "promotional calendar being developed and am in need of models, swimsuit, and semi-clothed. Will require presence on the islands, (Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, or San Miguel) with overnight stays. Transportation can be supplied by photographers boat at no cost to you. Or through Island Packers. Fees for time working can be paid in prints of headshot and glamour shots, or $50 per hour. Please respond with resume to beautifulyou@dslextreme.com amatuers with no experience will be considered".
