Can someone tell me what fish is this?

Fred posted it before, and I thought it was a remora, but its not..

It was stuck to my stern last Friday, for a good 1o minutes, and only let go of the boat once we got up to 9 kts, because it wiggled a lot.

Neve saw that before. Can someone tell me what it is??

Thank you

Lamprey
They are like a parasite they would hook onto a fish the same way as it did to your boat and suck the blood out of it.
EEK! - Alien Profile: Sea Lamprey

Hi Gui,
No doubt about it. Looks like a Lamprey to me too.

It obviously released it's grasp on Alex's rear end, when it discovered it was full of crap . . . .

Anyone notice besides me, Giulietta's wet exhaust? "Never use the motor" my ass.

TB...you are now pissing me off...

I said it stuck to us until we reached 9 kts..meaning we left the marina, hoisted the sails, STOPPED THE ENGINE, and sailed...then we hit the 9 kts and the snaky fish went suck someone else...

Cool down Giu . . . I'm only joking with you. Good God, you can dish out the sarcasm, but I have to keep reminding myself to never insult your sailing principles . . .
