I knew none of you would believe it, so I went ahead and posted the unmistakeable proof.

THe winds were howling that day. I told him to reef across the VHF, but he did not listen. He was trying desperately to catch up. This time is cost him. That is me, crossing the finish line.

I do feel terrible about posting this. No reall, I feel just terrible.

NO WORDS....IMAGES...

All your questions about the above photo are answered here bellow....

By the way...CD raced against Fred's optimist and loss...Fred was surprised to see that when the gun start sounded, CD's boat moved backwards...started yelp and ran away and hide underneath a bed....not used to move forward with wind..Fred thought....

CD-

Aha! Caught you digitally editing a photograph... We know you must be lying about the photo. The other sailboat can't possibly be you... it has its sails up and no exploding barbeque grills going off... so you must be lying...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
