Top Gear

Don't know if any of Americanos would ever see this show but it's probably the best motoring show on the idiot box even if it is English.

No I've not gone completely bonkers talking about a car show. This episode has a distinct maritime theme. Have a look see.

I watch that at home and enjoy it...a lot...

I don't think they see that in America...our cars are too refined for them....

Their cars are brute force, a lot of HP and torque, only to go staright (don't turn those wheels dont turn those wheels), and push the wind..for 1/4 mile

Our cars, speed graciously, in curves, begging the wind to move aside, while they go at 170 MPH, and turn...

Drove a BMW M6 last week....uhuuuu!!!!

Like their new corvette though....

Envious Gui. Havn't had a run in the M6 as yet only the standard 6 series. That was pretty damn good though.

Yankee cars are built for yankee highways I guess. You have to love those old fashioned V8s though. Built quality on American cars is crap as well. All plastic and other bits of nastiness.

I'm getting nice vibes from the new Audi A5. Nice looking bit of kit but I want a new boat more than I want a new car.

Don't understand what is going on but if you copy the shortcut and paste into a new window it works.

Zanshin is on a distinguished road
For a while in Germany I was driving a S8 engine hidden in a A6 frame with racing tires and suspension and a "chipped" computer system. I inherited that company car from my predecessor and it was, on occasion, fun to see the wide eyes of Porsche drivers who tried to pass me and I opted to floor it! The car did 290 or so according to my GPS! But you could literally watch the fuel guage move downwards at those speeds, thankfully I wasn't forking over the money for fuel.

No idea. If you follow the copy paste instruction from previous post it should take you straight there.
