Cam,Pretty little boat back there

There is a pretty little boat back there:

Nordhavn? 47? I can't tell from here. Ever been aboard one? Awesome boats.

Your Tayana is beautiful too. Very nice and very comfortable. Looks great.

I have always been passionate about those boats. Ever been on one TB? One of the best built boats in the world. 5,000 knot miles off of a tank is not unreasonable. Great liveaboard.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Well, I had a tough decision to make at the time... either buy a Nordhavn and take it for what it was, or buy a Catalina and put up the worlds largest solar array.

I chose the solar array just to put Giu out of business!!

CD,
Yes, sadly I have . . . Nordhavns are my wife's ultimate boats and never do we spend time at any boat show without her begging to go on them. They are extremely well built passage makers - but no sails!!!

If we ever inherit the fortunes of a long-lost billioniare uncle, I would seriously consider the N47 . . . with a new Nauticat 321 as a toy.

Yes, the orange color cast gives it away...

Cam, your Cetol work is an inspiration. I bought several qts of clear gloss last season, but have yet to apply it over my Cetol light - will do it later this month.

SD - you'd be surprised at how little orange cast exists with the "Light" formula.
