Sea Wynde Rum...

I am taking the chance that a discussion of rum is off topic, although part of me screams that this consideration is Blasphemy. At any rate, I just picked up a bottle of Sea Wynde rum. I heard lots of good things about it.

Has any one else Tried this rum and if so, what are your impressions of it? I am not going to open the bottle any time soon, but it is a damn pretty bottle.

labatt will become famous soon enough
I don't know about Sea Wynde but the other day I bought a bottle of Pyrat Cask for someone who has helped me quite a bit. It must have been stored upright at the store for a long time. I had it laying down for a week and when I opened up the wood case it came in I smelled the most delightful scent of rum. It only leaked a few drops through the cork, but the smell was wonderful! I hinted around strongly that I would love for him to save me a little bit but I think he was selfish Now I'll have to get myself a bottle to see how it is.

Nope... it all went to my friend... medallion, ribbon, cedar box, hand blown bottle, and most importantly - the sweet nectar that is pyrat cask rum.
