OMG! Did these guys actauly think they could launch a PWC from the back of a truck! What were they thinking? And it looks like a fairly nice truck! I would put this in the catagory of "Hey dumbass! Thats not a good idea!"

Thanks for the laugh Rick.

Rick-

This particular photo has been around for several years. It still amazes me at how things like this actually happen... very frightening, and a good reason I try to stay away from PWCs. I like this page on PWC deterrent measures.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Hey SD, do they make a mounting kit for small fishing boats and mono hull SB's, or is it a cat only thing? Is there a dealer near me? Can they be used in conjunction with a SolarStik?

Brilliant!!!! This could be just what I've been looking for to supliment my current "non-lethal" potato gun used for Close Quarters Combat. SD- I think there might be an even more pro-active use for this. If left mounted while trailoring could it be used to terminate the PWC, also being trailored, thus getting them before they can truely infest the water???

I am developing a proper mount, so that this can be used on small monohulls and fishing boats, but am trying to restrict sales of the mounts so that larger PWCs aren't suddenly equipped with them... They do not work with SolarStik... the heat generated by the miraculous increase in power from the solarstik confuses the electronics on the launch system. As for dealers, I'm afraid I have the exclusive distribution license for the North American Continent. The warheads are available in HE, armor piercing, fragmentation, incendiary, chemical, and tactical nuclear. Special approval is required for the last three types.

They do work when mounted on a boat on a trailer, I've used them that way several times.

Boasun will become famous soon enough Boasun will become famous soon enough
If the PWC is in back of your pick up, You lower the tail gate on arrival at the ramp. Line up the back of the pick up with the ramp. Put it in reverse and stomp on the gas... when going fast enough slam on the brakes. The PWC will slid out of the back of the pick up and into the water.
This is a good test for your brakes and Judging when you are suppose to apply the brakes before your truck is in the water.

I think they should try the same technique, but going forward. If we get our wish we could get rid of the PWC, owner, truck and all in one fail swoop!
