Oh, and after all his flight problems last time going home, he opted for a more reliable flight home.

MtnMike reminds me of one of the bears from a Disney Animatronic display... You three would make a good bluegrass band...but Alex would have to get face fuzz to fit in...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

That IS NOT ME

By the way....how can you see I am a real sailor????

A real sailor weras boat shoes, even in Colorado!!!!!!!!

Guys, I had a great time in Colorado, the people there are absolutely amazing, the nicest I have ever met.

Charlie is absolutely a nice guy, and so is his wife and kids. They are very talented, and she plays the harp which sounds Divine. He still needs a haircut and a beard trim!!

MoutainMike, is also a very very very nice guy, he drove in front of me, so I could get to my hotel last night. Thanks Mike...see you guys soon.

I will never forget this as long as I live....and in the end...this is what it is all about...we're in a comunity here, bound by sailing, but also by human friendship...

So to all bashers and loosers...KISS MY ASS!!! You're missing the point and objective of Sailnet.

TB..please explain what your joke is, I don't understand...and you know I need to understand, as I love to joke

TB...Sir...that is 100% pure Monthy Python humor!!!

You really really made it this time...very very funny. Thanks!!

(by the way, with that, you just went up in my consideration by earning 1200 points...you're now at 12 points positive. Congratulations!!! )

I also admire you for this:

Most Americans don't say my boat's name as it should sound, but you did..

In fact written "GIULIETTA", its sound is like saying JULIETTA, like in Romeo and Julieta...and you got the sound right, because most people I know dont make the GIU sound as JU. Instead most people start my boat's name with G sound like the one G has in Golf.

Must be from my grandparents - Mom's side . . . I've got small amounts of Latin blood mixed in that gene pool.

I agree...but must be very small quantities of Latin...you boat is not a 100% sail boat

By the way...want to know what amazes me??

There are only 5 100% "latin" Countries in the World. Spain, Portugal, France, Itally and Romania...making us the only Latin Origin race (if I may) in the World, also.

Yet, in the US, people refer to natives of South America as LAtins, LAtinos, Spanish, etc. Theya re not. There maybe some mix of LAtin blood, but they are not LAtins. We are....

Which raises confusion, when I say I am LAtin. in the US people laugh and say...no...you're European!!!

My wife was watching a show about racism in the US, here in the US, and the host said that in America, people are racist against Black, Chinese, Indian and Latin...my wife says:

"well these people are wrong....I never erver heard an American being racist towards me!!"
because for us she is latin, but for most Americans we're European, latins are in Argentina, Colombia Mexico, etc.

Funny, huh??

I don't know what percentage - I've always thought about 25% Italian . . . but since you said France was a Latin country ( didn't know that ) my French mixed with Belgium blood must make me more Latin than I realized . . . scary thought!

Hey . . . it's bad enough having a boat labled as a "Hybrid" - without you rubbing it in . In actuality though, I will bet that most sailors I know, with "100%" sailboats, use their motors more than I do.
