Giu,
just be careful not to ... break it again! What about rearranging the travel course of the mainsheet inside the boom?

Well as far as not breaking it again...can't guarantee that...that is the way it is....

Chrondi....its not practical, in fact, its impossible to do the routing (on that type of boom) of sheets inside the boom..there's outhauls there, several cables, the sheets would jam, be out of reach and eye, and most of all, the exiting of the sheets near the mast would be almost impossible.

The main sheet arrangment was not what broke it. Outhaul tension and a strong gybe >30kts did it.

As a famous Apollo XIII astronaut called Forrest Gump once said..."**** happens"....

It's about time! The seas have been lonely and I miss the abuse.

Make sure to post some new pics.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Giu -- would you have gotten a discount on a second one? Sounds like you should carry a spare with you at all times. hehehehehehe

Otherwise -- CONGRATS! Have a blast while you're gone. it has taken quite a while so you deserve some time on the water.
