You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Cam, I am sure he will not do that, he understands what a fine boat the Catalina is. He’s not a basher.

I’ve seen what he can do with a photo, I've been lurking here for longer than you think.

Stan
I believe he has referred to a Catalina has a ply wood boat in another thread

Well that happens a lot....confusion.....you must be confusing me with someone else...I could never have said that (maybe as a joke to CD in one of our fun threads), but as I was saying, I would never say something like that...

If I did, please show me where, so I can defend myself.

Several reasons I would not say it for serious:

1) I don't know these boats, other than the one I saw in St. Thomas, and I said I liked it.
2) I don't normally bash boats, as I like all of them, including Formosas, Macs Catalkinas etc. I do bash certain claims on Dufour, but I have a reason...if they were humble and knew what fair play means...I wouldn't do it.
3) Its not me...if I say something seriously...I am usually pretty sure about it, I don't second guess serious stuff..If I don't know about I don't post or joke about it.

I really hope you confused me.

Catalina34, your boat sucks!!! but not as much as CD's Aircraft carrier!!
