Afraid I too have to agree with G- (even if he has a prototype boat ). A poser does not a gentleman make.
I bet he is last picked at dodgeball too.

Probably couldn't have a dog growing up because they didn't want to keep buying all those steaks...

Put "treats" in his pockets too. All the neighbors thought it was cute that the dog followed him everywhere.

This does raise a question: If we don't now know that he even exists, does that make his posts SPAM???? There has to be some rule about posting false information, right? Who does he think he is George Tenet!

It is sad that he posted a photo of his friend as himself... How do we know he even was on the boat... chances are likely that he's never stepped foot on a sailboat, and that the photo isn't even of his friend... but of a random stranger off the internet.

SimonV appears to have the courage of the French military and the honor of the Vichy government. I'd say that Alex has won by default.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Simon, Simon, Simon,

I remember that photo when it was posted and thought " Oh, ****, that is rough". When I saw your response to Alex's photoshop I thought "Oh, ****, he is in for it now". You lose this one on a foul.

Next Game please.

Awwww shite.

Giu, dear boy, despite your slagging of my ancestors (first we get England's unwanted now we are inundated with effing bloody English tourists who won't go away even when we shoot their boyfriends) I'd like to be able to support your argument but........

Simon is after all a fellow New South Welshman, supporter of the Blues, by definition ergo a masochist I admit, but nonetheless a compatriot.

Giu, I'm afraid there is good and bad on both sides but , if you look at the post that Simon added that pic to, he does state quite clearly that the guy at the wheel is someone by the name of Martin and that it was him (Simon) taking the pic. So Simon was out there in that dirty weather and he never claimed it was a picture of himself.

Call it a draw and be done with it.

Ref. Convicts, there are those of us who firmly believe that we got the better part of that deal. They kept their stupid inbred corgi loving royalty in London and we got the raggle taggle gypsy ohs. You know as far as I am aware in the last couple of hundred years their has been only one assasination attempt on a English Royal and that was when an Australian tried to shoot the Prince of Wales when he was visiting Sydney. I like that. Only downside was he missed.
