Best damn sailing scenes in a movie were from Captains Courageous, the original 1937 movie with Lionel Barrymore and Spencer Tracy! Yea, that’s a real fishing schooner getting’ driven over on her beam ends!

The Riddle of the Sands, 1979 is a good sailing movie too!
