Ever Wonder How?

Ever wonder how Stonehenge or the Pyramids where made? Think aliens did it? Take off your tinfoil hat and check this guy out. He single handedly moves massive stone blocks with simple physics. He can stack, roll, move, and stand on end massive weight by himself. Imagine what many people could do under the direction of a few bright leaders guiding them. It's so simple. Archaeologists claim is had to take many people many years to build these monuments, but I think they are wrong.

Check his website out for movies of his different techniques. You need a good connection and quicktime to watch his videos. His page is kind of quirky, you need to click on the picture on the home page, then read down the pages then select the "next page" to get through the site.

That's cool, but there are other forgotten technologies closer to home. How many people here have spent time looking for a remote control to turn the channel on the TV? LOL.

That's cool, but now I have a different question.

Exactly what did the aliens do then if they didn't build the pyramids?

That guy is brilliant. I recently saw a show on Discovery about an anthropology professor who insisted the pyramids of Egypt were erected using kites. She'd received a lot of grant money to test her idiotic idea, and was the subject of an entire broadcast to show just how stupid her idea was (several of her colleagues essentially won an all-expense-paid vacation to Egypt. I doubt Wally took any grant money, and you can bet his ideas are a lot closer to the truth.

Cool!!!
They do a similar thing with big, as in 70-80 feet loa, African pirogues (traditional wood boats). If you view their profile you see the keel is crescent shaped. They beach them every night by running them aground parallel to the shore. Most of the crew (20-30 men) then run to the bow which raises the stern. Two other crew on the beach pull the stern shoreward. Then the deck crew runs to the stern which lifts the bow. The bow is then hauled shoreward. This is repeated over and over and the boat is walked up the beach. The boat is finally turned bow seaward and on the final "rock" has big log rollers inserted beneath the keel. When they relaunch they just roll the boat into the water. The whole process only takes 10-15 minutes, it's amazing to see and very clever.
