Members Map

Will somebody please explain the member map?

I have asked this question a few times and not received a satisfactory reply. I suspect that my browser won't work with it. I tried to upgrade my Shockwave and had all sorts of whacky behavior from Windows.

Regardless I see two maps.. one with red cross hairs indicating all members and the other shows member online???

I see no tools and no way to add my location or see any info for any cross hairs.

So... what is it supposed to do what op sys are you using that allows it to have functionality.

I don't believe it gives any information about any of the cross hairs, and I believe the addition of the crosses is automatic, based on the geographic location of the IP address you are logging in/posting from.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
