Unhappy Sailnet Website Speed

It seems like this website is getting slower by the day. Any chance of getting the servers a little boost?

Only seems to be this site

When a new page is clicked, it seems to hang for quite a bit. Not everytime but too often.

I just continue browsing in other tabs while this site slowly comes up.

Mine runs fine. May be on your end???? Don't know. I pop up very quickly usually. If the problem persists, let me know when it is happening and I will check mine at the same time.

I think it is on your end... either your computer or your ISP...since it seems to be fine for the rest of us.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Tartan34C will become famous soon enough
I use three different laptops to get to this site. One doesn’t ever finish opening the home page and one has a delay much as yours Mdbee. The third works great. Two are on the company network in different places in the building, one in the shop and one in the office and its one of them that doesn’t work. The one that works best is in the office. The one I use on the road or at the boat (home) is slow but OK. I thought it was a problem connected to the version of Internet Explorer that was installed in each. All are IBM ThinkPads of similar power and specifications.
All the best,
Robert Gainer

I have a cable connection. There are some days when this site IS very slow. Sometimes I find re starting windows helps. I hate Bill Gates.

tried a different browser?

maybe try another browser - e.g. firefox. it's free and in 90% of all websites firefox is much faster than ie.
