Its funny how you think Pirates are glamorous and all...to us, in Portugal, and europe in general, they are a shame, still considered criminals and murderers...we don't forget easy...we are ashamed we had Pirates in the Northern coats of Africa in the 1700's

We had pirates, real ones, not enchanted stories of long bearded caribbean novel people..hiding treasures in beautifull islands, talking funny and drinking fru fru rum drinks.....the real ones...that killed hundreds of inocent victims, destroyed private property, sank boats and raped villages, etc...

England legalized piracy....against French and Spanish vessels....do you think they are proud of it???

Its like in future 2207, someone considering Bin Laden glamorous and a good source for romantic novels....and even make the "talk like a terrorist day"....

I don't like pirates.....I play the pirates thing for my kids, but I don't like them...and I hope they forget them fast...

Ask anyone that has been a recent victim of them....or you thing that today's modern pirates in Taywan, in Philipines, Indic ocean, etc.....are different???

As you know, Disney's been featuring Pirates of The Caribbean as a theme ride in Disney World for decades and more recently in three very successful movies.
