I moved to San Diego in 1983 after I gradeeeated High school. He was everywhere in SoCal back then, it was great to see him. I very much rejected disco, and when punk happened, The New York Dolls etc, that was all she wrote for me. Jodie Foster's Army (from another HS in my area) played house parties and managed to belt out a song or two before the cops came. No sound checks, didn't want to alert the neighbors. Thanks for the update SA.

I don't know if anyone's into polka around here, but I sure love it. I'm not talking about the soft stuff, like the "Lederhosen Bratt Meisters." Sure, the Bratt Meisters are great, but I'm talking about "Spastic Colon," which later, as they got older and a little tamer, renamed themselves "Irritable Colon." There pretty old nowadays, and I think they just call themselves "The Loose Stools." Anyway, I LOVE POLKA! Who's with me?
