Not that I don't understand him . Just that I tend to nod off after awhile. This is Sailnet not the effing Tolstoy appreciation society.

Come on PB even you have to admit that Sway does have a tendency towards tedious tory tendentiousness.

(Good one CD. Sway'll love it. Right Wing Whacko he may be but a RWW with a sense of humour.)

At least though FLuffy, when he's done, he's actually said something definitive. A refreshing change from what passes as political discourse amongst the politicans, who can use twice as many words to say absolutely nothing.

Disclaimer: My original post in this thread was merely a joke.

I disagree with almost everything he ever posts, we are diametrically opposed on matters of politics yet we still manage to chat amiably.

He's still a RWW !!

ps - posts of a political nature not sailing gumph.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

One attempts to keep things as simple as possible. In some cases, it is impossible to simplify things beyond a certain point due either to the nature of the subject or the target audience. There is though, within the sailing community, one product that when coupled with it's truly unique aftermarket support system that epitomizes simplicity itself. That product is the Catalina sailing boat as explained by it's "technical" advisor CruisingDad. The Catalina company, with the invaluable input of the simple-minded CruisingDad, has simplified the practise of sailing to it's logical reductio ad absurdum. Thus the average Catalina fulfills all of it's simple owner's needs by simply not sailing. It's great proponent, CruisingDad, answers simple questions by simply not answering them. Catalina-the simple sailor's boat, built by the simple-for the simple-supported by the simple. Catalina, with the simple help of CruisingDad, has refuted the great Abraham Lincoln, who said, "things should be kept as simple as possible, but no simpler".

CruisingDad can be found on the sailnet website for those Catalina owners desiring to simplify their boats beyond simply not sailing; just send him a PM, or private message. Be warned; you may need to find one truly simple to decipher CruisingDad's simple reply.
