The rum thread!

Alright folks, you sailors need to prove your saltiness. Tell everyone your favorite brand of rum, why you like it, any history behind the brand(sailors love a good story right), and any personal stories that you can contribute to excess usage.
I personally have just polished off a bottle of Sailor Jerry's. Sailor Jerry was a famous tatoo artist that was one of the pioneers of modern tatooing. He went to Japan to learn his profession.
Rum has always been a millstone to me. With a few drinks it turns me into a porn crazed maniac, it doesn't help that i spend an average of five days a week away from my lovely wife. The demon rum helps me get through. Tell it mates!
