Lucky Giu

Lucky you, Giu.

Out of town, eh?

I have forwarded this to Ms. Giu. I suggested the model that has to be welded on. It is going to be a early Christmas present for you. Just thought I would break the news early...

Remember, I am your friend.

PS Well, you should have never sent me your address.

You will be a better man because of it, Giu. You have to quit thinking about yourself. You have a family to feed, literally.

Now, would you rather be known as the racer that won a race? So what? That happens everyday. OR, WOULD YOU RATHER BE KNOWN AS THE CRUISER THAT WON THE RACE WITH EVEN HIS BBQ GRILL ON BACK!???

Now that, my friend, makes the history books.

Reminds of the Wednesday night beercan race, as we crossed the starting line I noticed that the boat to leeward was barbequing chicken on a grill on the stern rail. My crew all wanted to jump ships...

THink about all the great Portugese sailors... Magellan, Joao Lagos, Jacques-Yves Cousteau... they made a name for themselves.

Make a name for yourself. Hold a winch handle in one hand, a spatula in the other. Make me proud to know you.

Hey you Plonker...Costeau was French and was a diver, not a sailor (he did sail some, but better known for other things)

And who the hell is Joao Lagos??
