Sorry to land this one on you, but I am very puzzled....
I have run into a problem with Visual basic and wondered if anyone had ever seen it.
I have been storing multiple versions of a
VB program I have been writing in different folders, but each time I save the latest version of the program in the latest folder, when I go back to a previous version, in a previous folder, it is still holding changes I have made the same day, and will not go back in time, so to speak.
Even if I go to the archives to a zipped version of the program from weeks ago, when I unzip it, the latest version is overwriting it.... or seems to.
Even if I go to an ENCRYPTED version, and de-crypt it, then unzip that, the latest version is present on the screen.
This problem can be very damaging indeed, as it does not allow me to re-visit the archives.
I plan to load one of the archives onto a different machine, such that the latest version cannot influence it, but that seems a bit drastic.
Imagine the situation... latest version, or none! This is bizarre!
Thanks.
