PB,
I think you are jumping to conclusions. I was reacting to your statement that "the corporate world is apolitical'. Politics is more than the left/right divide. Corporations will attempt to buy whatever politician can do them some good. In my book that makes them political.

No, it makes them immoral, unethical and any other slimeball adjective you care to use. It doesn't make them political.

Joel, that's excellent. Hopefully it will spark some competition, preferably with the Portagee portrayed as food, or suckling would be rather nice as well!

Well, I'm back here, having wiped a bit of egg off.
I was wrong in my recollection of the Charlton Heston speech scenes. But I wasn't really wrong in the conclusions. I do remember discussing that scene with others and the consensus was that the 'cold dead hands' scene was all part of the same Denver speech. Ask 10 people and 9 will likely say the same. The way it was edited made it easy to think you were looking at parts of the same speech given in Denver just after the massacre.
In fact the cold dead hands comment was a year later, aimed at algore, who was proposing new gun control legislation. Editing slight of hand is perhaps just short of lying but only by a technicality.
