Obviously written by someone who is already critical of FEMA, this is not an objective assessment of the basis or legal authorities contained within FEMA's organization. The martial law authority has nothing to do with FEMA either but was originally enacted long before FEMA was created.
I am no fan of FEMA or the current administration but I do think that if someone wants to be critical, they at least get their facts correct.

Enacted by Kennedy in 1962, it established the Federal Safety Council. Now it's perverted by CT's into authority for the "government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports".

Have these people even read these EO's, or do they just copy and paste each other? Do they even understand what they are reading, to come up with such wild nonsense?
