Three Things To Ponder

I couldn't find that old Immigration thread so . . . I'll re-hash.

Three Things to Ponder:

1. Cows

2. The Constitution

3. The Ten Commandments

Cows
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

The Constitution
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The Ten Commandments
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment

Very sad, but true... but the US Govt. obviously believes that mad cow disease is much more of a threat than illegal immigration.

It is a fine document, and one that was working quite nicely up until the current regime decided they didn't need to abide by it. Warrantless wiretaps, rendition, the use of torture, etc...

It is actually quite funny to see how the immoral the party of the Moral Majority really is. For all their belief in the sanctity of life... I don't see how they can justify the killing of thousands of innocents and not be lying sacks of hypocritical ****.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Sorry Dawg, the GOP doesn't have a stranglehold on corruption, graft, and immorality. Nor on being "lying sacks of hypocritical ****."

PBZ-

Never said they had a stranglehold on it... but they do claim to be the party upholding standards of morality... which the Dems never claimed to do.

Now Dawg, the Dems do plenty of preaching, just not in a church. Don't have to be religious to be a hypocrite
