Oops, no WMD's.........

The WMD house of cards that the Looney Left has hitched it's wagon to has begun to collapse. Details, pesky details, below.

Right. And I plan on buying a Hinckley and starting my solo circumnavigation next week.

Guess those pesky UN inspectors were right after all, huh?

As TSteele65 has pointed out.... having plans is not the same as actually achieving... and Newsmax.com is not exactly a reputable news source IMHO.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

A simple Google will reveal that not only Fox News, but NBC news, have reported the story as related by a very well respected FBI agent.

"having plans" means nothing? Oh, I forgot. He'd never messed about with nukes before had he? They don't call 'em the Looney left for nothin'.

He couldn't even reconstitute what he had prior to the '91 war, the sanctions were working, yet he was magically going to get his hands on nuclear technology? Think, man, think.

I think you need to go back to the "WMDs smuggled into Syria" story line. Oh wait, can't do that now - Hussein just confessed that he was bluffing.

Nukes do not encompass all of the weapons categorized as WMD's. the possibility of Syrian possession remains an open question.

What, the rusted artillery shells we found with some neutralized chemical agents, those WMDs? Or are we talking about the infamous "RV Of Death", which turned out to be a helium truck?

Honestly, the right needs to give up the ghost on this one. It's demonstrably untrue, and has been for some time.

Well....the story has been repeated on all the major news feeds so lets not get Newsmax in the middle of this. I don't think the story has much importance at all either way.
1. If it is all true that this is what Saddam said...why should we believe him?? Would we believe Hitler's view of his reign?
2. It is self-serving...building up his own intelligence and guile.
3. Wanting nukes is not the same as working on them...it would be nice if there were some smidgen of detail on that piece but there is none.

While it may provide fascinating insight into the mind of a meglomaniac...I don't think there is much there that I'd rely on as "history". The book however, sounds most interesting...perhaps Santa will drop a copy on my hearth.
