Alan Dershowitz on waterboarding, national security, and the Dems.

Alan Dershowitz, a right-wing nutter of the first order, chimes in on matters of grave concern to the Looney Left and other's stuck in line at the passport office. Confidence is expressed that the Democratic nominee will carry Rhode Island and make a strong showing in Maryland. Venezuala and Palestine are too close to call.

GulfCoastSkimmer is on a distinguished road
I am attending a University at the moment and we were having a conversation about waterboarding. This guy that sits next to me wasnt paying attention, and when the teacher asked who else had something to say on the issue he said,"I tried waterboarding last summer, it was fun! We are getting a family boat so we can ski, tube and waterboard more often next year." Now i am sure this isnt what you were looking for, but thought it might give you a laugh.

GCS,
That was no doubt a "priceless" moment. That guy will be a congressman some day. (vbg)

The comment ". . . many Americans see as the Bush failures in the war against terrorism and especially its extension to Iraq and possibly, in the future, to Iran." pretty much sums up Dershowitz for me. I'm sick of hearing that and similar snappy cliches from the left. They always have to start with something like that. Hillary uses the phrase "Bush and his failed policies" every time she opens her mouth. ArgHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Bill - "What's for dinner Hil?" Hil - "Pork, eggs and Bush and his failed policies"

The comment . . . "I am not now talking about the routine use of torture in interrogation of suspects or the humiliating misuse of sexual taunting that infamously occurred at Abu Ghraib." OK I, on several occasions, found myself wearing panties on my head at fraternity parties and liked it! I bet the Abu Ghraib residents liked it too . . . in secret. I know people who would pay for that kind of treatment.

I think the Dems will come closer to center, as they always do, at election time.
