Where I live, there are Portuguese coffee shops and Italian coffee shops practically side-by-side. That's how I noticed the difference, and in my neighbour, it's important to know the difference, particularly if Italy and Portugal are playing against each other in "futebol".

But as for taste, they are pretty much the same deal...unless you use Blue Mountain...
