Nuvi ??

My wife needs a navigation system for her car.
Poor thing doesn't know which way is North.

I am looking at an entry level system.
Are these any good.......

Thanks,
Tim

I know I need to give you more information.

Entry Level.
Easy to use.
US maps preloaded.
Budget..... less than $500.00

Don't know the Nuvi, but these things work very good, good choice in your price bracket.

Go with the Nuvi 650 (350 is too small). She can keep it in her purse. I got to play with one for a day. They're very nice.

Edit: add . . . Tom Toms are nice too. The wife has a built in system in her car so I got used to the rectangular (Nuvi) format.

The Nuvis are excellent for car use. There's a good one over at costco that is priced far better than what you'll find over at West marine.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

A co-worker just told me he got the new Nuvi 750 and it kicks the 650's @$$ because it has "Multi Destination Routing".

Here's a good place to check out GPS's.

Based on what I looked at last year and what friends tell me, Nuvi is the way to go.

They are excellent.

I have the 670 which has both US and Euro maps.

Strongly recommend it. The bluetooth handsfree feature is an added bonus...

We have a Nuvi 660, and it is amazing. We visited my sister who lives in waht I thought was a remote location, so I didn't even bother entering her address, but rather a nearbay location. Later, showing her the GPS, she entered her address, and the Nuvi had it. My sister ended up buying one.

BTW, we got ours from Costco.
