Veep prediction game

The prez candidates probably won't reveal their picks for veep until they garner the nomination from their party. But that can't stop the guessing, so let the games begin.
Pick one candidate from each party and try to predict who they will pick as their running mate. Try to leave animals out of it!!!

Hillary: I don't think she'll want a strong candidate like Barak to steal the limelight. But she'll have to pick a minority now to offset his appeal. Her choice will be Bill Richardson. Safe, southwestern & minority, plus ties to the old clinton admin.

Rudy: Colin Powell. Rudy will need to keep pace with the minority choice, I don't think any of the other candidates have balancing appeal for him but most of all I base it on the fact that Rudy was on a long speaking tour with Colin a few years back.

Obama...Joe Lieberman so he can appeal to all Democrats.

Fred Thompson picks Dick Cheney. Millions of Looney Leftists fall over with apoplexy, before voting, and the Looney Tunes spend the next eight years in court fighting the "set-up" election. In the meantime, US foreign policy remains in adult hands.

Hillary selects...I'll admit that this was a tough one but serious cogitation reveals that it can be only one of two potential canidates; Maxine Waters or Barney Frank. Maxi is the only woman that can make Hillary appealing to the rest of the men in America and she does have her constituency; Cambridge, MA and southcentral LA. Barney's just a natural. At some point the voter's are going to want to see Hillary's soft feminine side; Barney's it. My money is on the poofter.

And an almost forgotten possiblity:
Dennis Kucinich selects Bobby Fischer as his Veep. Kucinich vows that lack of knowledge of Fischer's whereabouts will be no worse than the current situation with Dick Cheney.

I think she'd more likely make him secy of defense or something similar. Can't picture him bringing in any votes she doesn't already have.

Barak is seen having lunch with NY mayor Bloomberg. It was quite an obvious setup, sitting at a window table in Manhattan. VP discussions? Probably too obvious, just a scare tactic for Hilary and a way to get some TV time. But you never know.

Interesting...he was on FNC last night arguing with Pat Buchannan and did a pretty good job of demolishing Buchannan's gloom and doom scenario. Both were plugging their new books and I'd be inclined to read Bennet's!

Problem with him as a Veep is that he really brings nothing to the ticket as far as votes go. He is too "unknown" and whoever is nominated will need help getting additional states in the "win" column and that is the one thing that Bennet would not bring with him...however good he might be as an actual VP.
Felice gravitas!

And I thought the VP was chosen by the PC to maximise votes and deter assassination attempts.
