How do I find all new posts?

Quite often if I'm away for a while ,when I log on it shows a large number of new posts. However, when I click on the link they're not all there. Is that how the system is set up or am I missing something?

this was one that got me for awhile. When you click on where it tells you how many new posts there are it takes you to a list of threads that doesn't seem as long as it should. I think the deal is that alot of those new posts are on the same threads and you are seeing them all it just doesn't seem that way. look at the last thread on the list and see how long it has been since someone posted there and it makes more sense

Menu bar at the top (above Post Reply)... click on "New Posts". Are you saying that you click on that and it's not working?

You may be right about that. I'll check it and see if that's the answer.

No I get the posts but sometimes it will say, for example, there are 200 new posts but I'll only see 100. I couldn't figure out where the rest were. The previous answer may be it. I'm looking at 100 threads that may have a total of 200 new posts within them. I'll check that next time it happens.

That is the way it works - it's a post count, not a thread count... but last week a couple of times only 2 or 3 threads showed up with 100 new posts listed... tried again and it came out the usual way!?!
