Is Buffet "required" music?

not on my boat! Frankly I get tired of people in my YC saying how much they love it! Now, if Sinatra sung nautical.....

I agree. Anyone who's spent any time in Key West knows how cliche' JB's music and merchandising has become.

BTW, it's spelled Buffett.

I have a Sirius radio on the boat with cockpit speakers. They have a Sinatra channel which I have on a lot. Makes for a great sail.

My boat is Buffett free. Not by design, just there's other stuff I prefer more. Almost all the new music I buy is Classical.

Our boat is music-free entirely. The Admiral is of the opinion that part of the joy of sailing is the sounds of the water, sails, rigging, etc. Kinda hard to argue with that.

Jimmy Buffet is the John Tesh of sailing music. Absolutely beyond awful. I'd rather listen to my Perkins throw a rod and the sounds of baby harp seals spinning around in my dryer. At the same time. Please gawd, can you make him a mime instead? Or at least a brick layer? How much more do you need to punish us?................

So is ours and will ALWAYS be that way. I bought a sailboat, NOT a floating condo.
