Ten Albums - Books - Magazine - Movies

Reading the Buffett thread reminded me of a game we used to play in the car.

If you were stuck on a Boat (original was island) and you could only take ten albums with you what would they be?

I will answer later

Other versions were:
Ten Books?, Ten Magazine Prescriptions?, and Ten Movies?

P.S. - I thought it would be anoying to start seperate threads for each (books, magazine, movies) so feel free to answer all four. Also I did a thread search for albums and books but didnt see anything like this, so if there was/is, feel free to flame me.

It was always 10 songs not albums. Hell 10 albums could be 120 songs. That isn't suffering.

Have you read Alex's list of albums. And you reckon it's not suffering ? Frampton, Aerosmith, Queen ? Cruel and inhuman punishment if you asked me.

Then he comes up with Lewis Black. Just shows that no one is all bad.

Here is my music

10 Albums –
Ben Harper – Live From Mars
Bob Dylan - Essential Bob Dylan
Jason Mraz – Live (with I’m Yours)
Robert Earl Keen – No. 2 Live Dinner
George Strait – Strait out of the box (yea it’s a box set, get over it)
Jack Ingram – Live at Billy Bob’s
U2 – The Best of 1980 – 1990
Coldplay – A Rush of Blood to the Head
The Smashing Pumpkins – Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Tom Petty – Greatest Hits

P.S. - Freesail you can do 10 Songs instead of albums, 10 pages instead of books, and 10 clips instead of movies if you want. I am cool with that 

Ok then, here are my top ten favourite country(ish) acts.

Hank Williams
Buck Owens
Townes van Zandt
Steve Earl
Slaid Cleaves
Mark Erelli
Gillian Welch
Emmy Lou Harris
Fred Eaglesmith
Robert Earl Keen

I'd like to have include Lyle Lovett but in reality only his first two albums are country. Nowadays he is more R & B. Of course this list would probably be different by this time next week.
