Islam and Western courts

Well, the Islamists have Mark Steyn in the dock of one of Canada's Human Right's Commisions. Silly me, I thought Canada was so tolerant you could say anything you wanted as long as it didn't concern hockey. The imams who got taken off the plane in Minneapolis for discussing pyrotechnics are still awaiting Bill Kuntsler's call. That one could be awhile, although seemingly not to the detriment of their ardour. And now more news from the real center of European politics-football-soccer to us New Worlders.

The common thread amidst all of these cases is that, while desiring to eliminate western democracy in as efficacious a fashion as possible, the Muslim wack-jobs just don't have the access to fisionable material sufficient to do the job right. What could possibly be the pre-nuke option for the eradication of western culture? (after MTV !) Well, the courts of course! Proving once again that at the bottom of every pile is usually a hungry attorney. At least this one is in Yurrup!

Wow, he must be damned old to have lived during the Crusades!

I wonder if you can buy those jerseys...?

Rockter,
IIRC, your Royal Navy's battle ensign, the Cross of St. George, is already under fire for similar reasons. That glorious sight to merchantmen on the Murmansk run is simply just not politically correct in our enlightened age. the thought wearies the soul.

Sailaway...

I have serious doubts if they would touch that one. There woiuld be such a damn fight. You are right, even in coastal water I see the odd Man-of-War, and we look for the red cross on white background.

We see the odd sub on the surface too in West Scotland. I like the subs. We can build some potent subs.

We will stop the PC brigade in the end there Sailaway. The same noisy sentiment often tries to move on the monarchy, but they get nowhere. Could you imagine??? rather than the Queen we would have President Blair???? Sick-bag, sick-bag!!!, quick !!!

Good grief What's next: They gonna sue Switzerland for their flag? Are they going to sue Victorinox for their logo? Ban Victornox products from their countries?

I'm feeling an increasing urge to get myself a white t-shirt with a big ol' red Cross of St. George emblazoned across the front. Seriously.
