The Bucket List!

Things to do before you die! " kick the bucket" Not necessarily sailing related (no I've not seen the movie yet!)

chime in with your dreams! I'm still thinking on mine!

1.Learn a martial art--not the reader's digest version of one
2.Learn at least 2 more languages, more if I can find room in my brain
3.Skydive
4.Conquer both claustrophobia and fear of drowning and learn how to scuba dive
5.Travel- a lot
6.Take part in an archaelogical dig (anywhere, as long as it's interesting)
7.See my children grow to be healthy, well-adjusted and useful members of society

...to name a few

Sail in the Harvest Moon Regatta - got to bring a boat back this year but I want the race part going down . . . Maybe next year.

Sail Across the Gulf of Mexico - Texas to Yucatan.

Go to an Elvis school (if I can find one) to become an Elvis impersonator.

See Australia

Take that small ship cruise that goes to Newport, Boston, and all of those other beautiful little sea ports/towns in New England. This is actually number one on the list.

Finish the shed in the back yard.

I'm hopin' to be in heaven before the devil knows I'm gone.

I suppose I'd like to read Gibbon's before I'm done.

7. Ski naked anywhere all day.
6. Build a boat kayak will do.
5. Learn the guitar well.
4. Do a cross country trip again (U.S.A.) this time with my wife and kids. is that crazy.
3. See the Himalaya's
2. Enjoy watching my kids grow up healthy, happy and a productive part of society.
1. Retire Healthy.
PEACE

There's a few things I'd like to accomplish, but this is supposed to be a family friendly forum

"Things to do before you die!"

Here's one for thought -
Imagine if in fact, we just keep refilling the same proverbial bucket - perpectually, without any recall of it's former contents. Kinda explains déjà vu.

Mine on the other hand, has sprung a leak and refuses to be filled.

Nope, no list anymore. Do what I can, don't worry about the rest.... pathetic in a sense, liberating in another...
