You can have fun in the Northeast during Winter...

Well, you have to find something to do... We did 76 miles on New Year's Day (see http://maps.live.com/?v=2&cid=6CDEE4...101&encType=1). We're finally having a real Winter in this region for a change... I'd rather be sailing, but this ain't a bad way to pass the time...

You drive your smelly, loud, evil, gas guzzling, carbon spewing machines through the pristine wilderness running over fragile plantlife and scraring the crap out of the native wildlife?

Tons of fun! I did a snowmobile trip into Yellowstone park, it was awesome!

Kind of strange... enjoying the peacefulness and power of sailing during the warmer months and riding a high powered machine ripping through snow covered trails at high speed during the Winter... but it is fun.

labatt-

You won't need snowmobiles on your boat if you're in the Caribbean.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I gybe whan I feel it is safe to do so.
Remember..........Common sense.

Hey Labatt,
did you guys warm up at all.
Its about 32 degrees here today.
Feels like a heat wave.

Nice sleds. Looks like a lot of fun.
I have turned into a warm weather fan over the past twenty years or so.
I tolerate the cold, but don't play around in it anymore. Kinda like a bear, I hibernate during winter.
