Hello from TCI

Hello. Is this the right place for introducing oneself?

Wife and I moved to the TCI from the USA almost three years ago. We have been interested in sailing and cruising the islands south and west of here. I did a lot of research on this, and other forums, and know what sailboat we want. We just have to finish building a house first, priorities you know.

Meanwhile, we have a power boat, fish a lot, and take a lot of photos which we post on a blog about two americans moving to a tropical island, etc. No, this ain't spam...we ain't selling nothing.

Welcome to sailinet 2Gringos. This is a great place to hear a wide mix of views from sailors with many levels of experience. I have to admit though, your centerconsole powerboat avatar does seem a bit odd on a sailing forum and as danjarch alluded, it is against forum rules to post dual identities.

2gringos...please explain why you and canibul have the same personal information. Dual identities are not permitted here.

Drill a hole in the boat and let the water in....its a power boat anyway, you will be contributing to a better world.

2gringos, are you aware that you need to post a photo of yourself within the next 20 posts?

failure to do so will result in ban from sailnet. This is only applicable to power boaters only.

Then 5 gal of gasoline a match will do the trick....

Pour gasoline evenly over boat, light match, throw match inot boat.

(important note: getting out of boat before lighting match is optional, may I direct you to Hoffa??)

2Gringos,
Welcome and don't dare send him a photo even if you own a stinkpot. You'll regret it the rest of your life.
