Hey Giu!

Hey Giu—

Since you normally are on sailnet while you're working, what are you doing on sailnet while you're home. Unlike us poor ice-locked bastages, your boat is in the water... so why aren't you sailing???

You got some explaining to do...

P.S. If you've got the time on your hands, where are our new sailing videos... the boomjack (boomvang??) one would be nice to see.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SD, we had extremely bad weather, we went out and returned, swell was higher than the marina walls, we had 15 foot swell here. Gusts to 40knots, and a lot of rain, and the white stones that hurt the head when they hit you..

I got so wet and the boat was ay 25ş heel with mast only!! ehehehehe I was going to get a photo, but was too wet.

Anyway, I am here as Fred is racing today and I am looking after Luis. Also need to finis a report.

The videos will resume once I work, the real work...you know..

Ahh... damn... 25˚ of heel with bare mast... damn... that's windy.. I guess we'll let you skate this time.

Gave one of my crew a hat... he loves it... The only problem is he's got a cone-shaped head, so the hat's a bit big... Thanks again for them..

Wish Fred good luck for me and just remember, it ain't babysitting when they're your own kids.

We just came back..no race...

But they ended up playing games and sorts around the club...silly boy...

By the way, something funny for you...

yesterday I went at 10 pm with Fred to check the boat, and while I was there, I had him help me sort out the electrical connections on my shore power line, you know, make sure blue goes in blue, green/yellow, in green/yellow and brown in brown....

So I used a Multimeter, once I took it off my desk, he looked at it and asked what it was...so I had to explain about Volts amps and resistors....

took me a while but I explained the Volts were the water quantity in the river, the Amps was the pressure/current of the river and how fast it flows, and the bridges were the resistors....he understood...

Just a while ago, as we were returning home, I asked how was the sailing...he says:

"Dad, if you had brought the Voltimultimeter, you coud measure that the Volatge was low, a lot of amps and we couldn't get bellow the resistor".....

Man I was laughing for half hour....

Well, now you know who should be working on the electrical system on your boat.
