Landed 10.30am out the front in the pickup zone 12.05pm, BF drove past just as I came out of the doors. Do you know how many green Explorers drive past the pickup zone, most waved back. BF rescued me and we were off, quick tour of the city even drove down Lombard street, oh to be young again with a skate board.

By late afternoon we had looked at four boats and I liked three, felt like making an offer on two, till BF beat me severely around the head, something about "we have just started".

I must say you are spoiled for choice here in the states and it makes me mad at the quality and price here compared with what’s back home.
Well it’s raining HEAVY today so were having a rest and will start looking properly tomorrow.

If you decide to go forward with a purchase, make sure your surveyor carefully sounds the hull for polyestermites, a common but highly destructive infestation problem we have here in North America, especially on the West Coast. Good luck with your search.

I hate to say it, seeing as Simon is a nice bloke and all, but his boat buying skills are severely lacking. I keep telling him that there is no better deal in this area than a certain CS34, but he keeps looking at Catalinas.

Fell in love with a Morgan 38 but due to my headache I will keep looking. Funny thing the first boat BF showed me was a very nice CS34, though a bit small for me he kept on about how the ladies just love it. All joking aside it is a fine vessel and is well worth a look.

Fresh water kept and only a six month season makes for a longer lasting boat. Its just a bit harder to get them to the other side of the world.
